Anyone read a child books from the ROTTEN RALPH series, by Jack Gantos? These books are LOL funny, sort of the predecessor to Garfield the cat as the first book was penned in '76, while Garfield appeared two years later. He's a little girl's cat who never behaves, but she loves him anyway, and my daughter has really enjoyed being read these stories, & they've made it fun for me to visit the Childrens' library.

Ah yes, I remember Rotten Ralph. Admittedly I only read one book, that being Rotten Ralph. But that was the one where they took him to the circus and he got tired of some guy's dog barking at him so he stole some helium balloons from one of the clowns and tied them to the dog's collar. So Sarah's family left him at the circus. Pretty funny.
